Run the Gates 5-Miler & 2-Mile Fun Run

Runners once again said the course was both challenging and fun. It started in Forsythia Park between Snowball Gate and Forsythia Gate, traversed the drive around Snowball Gate, came back through the park and into Forsythia Gate where it traveled over the drive there with a small portion in Red Rose Gate.

We want send special thanks once again to the Bucks County Roadrunners Club for their guidance, support and course marshalling and timing; Bucks County Amateur Radio Emergency Service, Penn Wireless Association for communications and ensuring the runners' safety; Tuesday's Gone for the great entertainment; to all our great volunteers, and, of course, to the runners and walkers.

Four for the Future is an ad hoc group formed in 2001 to help raise funds for four nonprofit agencies in Bucks County that provide services for people with disabilities. These agencies include:

• The Bucks County Council for Individuals with Disabilities
• Delta Community Supports, Inc.
• QUDC School of Special Education
• Handicapped Crusaders

Our 3rd Annual Run the Gates 5-miler and 2-mile fun run/walk will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2008 on Snowball and Forsythia Drives in Levittown.
